My sister is among thousands of victims of the Japanese earthquake in Sendai. She is ok, we received a phone call from her couple days ago. She's one of many who lost their homes but she's very lucky to have a good friend to provide her shelter at their house in Sendai. The food & water shortage you hear on TV is Real.
The truth is, I'm "Cheap Charlie" and I don't like donating to Charitable Organizations simply because I never trusted them. But I believe the American Red Cross finally got their acts together, they promise that 96 cents out of every dollar will go directly to Japanese aid.
For the first time in my life, I'm donating now. Please join me and donate atleast $10 to American Red Cross, you can do it online via their website.
